Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the west in an awesome game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the croupier, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers wager with other players. By wagering against the dealer, starting players don’t have to fret about any other, more skillful people taking their cash.

An additional Pai Gow edge is the fairly slow game pace, novices will be able to take their time and plan while not needing to make quick decisions.

It’s also simpler to wager on for an extended time with only a tiny bit of cash since, to not win, each of your hands needs to be under each of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is given 7 cards faces showing and the casino is given 7 cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and a two card hand need to be made from the seven cards, the five card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
