Web poker has become globally famous lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, arcs back in fact a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years many variants on the first poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling chemin de fer than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the casino rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no conniving or different types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the croupier broadcasting "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different gamblers are given 5 cards each. After you have seen your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you have to in turn make a call bet or accede. The call wager’s amount is equal to your beginning wager, which means that the stakes will have doubled. Surrendering means that your wager goes instantly to the bank. After the bet comes the face off. If the casino does not have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, with an amount equal to the initial wager. If the house does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The bank pony’s up money even with your bet and fixed odds on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
