Poker Aces references two aces dealt pre-flop. It’s the strongest attainable pre-flop hand inTexas Holdem Poker. But regardless a large number of players find themselves on the losing end when dealt these cards.

When you’re given a set of Aces, you just don’t drop out before theflop. You’re positioned with the greatest achievable hand at this stage of the game. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you simply go all-in? I’d say no to that.

Remember, you’re looking to generate as much profit from this strong position. You need to maximise the opportunity. Going all-in will merely scare most gamblers into dropping out and not making a wager.

If you’re in the early position (1st or second to place a bet), you will make a single bet. Any person with decent cards will call, hopefully somebody will raise. If someone has made a raise don’t spring to re-raise or call, pause for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.

Following the flop your tactic will be to eliminate any player that might be able to build a straight or a flush. So I would begin to raise boldly, if you’re fortunate you’ll trick 1 player into believing that you are tricking.

If you are in the center or later seat (near the last to cast your bet) you will observe as every player calls and then raise. Even with you holding a pair of aces, if you can try to abstain from a show-down. Protect your hand by forcing the other players drop out after the flop. If you don’t abolish your competition you chance squandering your hand.
