Ah, the poker tilt. If a poker player states at no time to have peered down the barrel of an upcoming steam – they are either lying or they haven’t been competing very long. It’s an inevitable experience of participating in Hold’em, or for that matter any kind of poker.
After all we are assumingly (nearly all of us) playing poker for one purpose – to win a profit, it will make sense that we would gamble accordingly to maximize profits. Now let’s say you are up one hundred dollars off of a 100 dollars deposit, and you suffer a big hit in a No Limits game and your bankroll is down to $120. You’ve lost eighty dollars in a round where you were assured to pick up $200two hundred dollars when you went all-in on the flop and enjoyed a ten to one edge. And that guy! He banged you out on the river? – Well stop right here. This is a quintessential opportunity for a fresh player to begin tilting. They really just lost too much money on one round that they should have won and they’re pissed
